UNITED WAY OF WYOMING VALLEY’S COMMUNITY IMPACT TEAM IS DEEPLY COMMITTED TO CUTTING CHILDHOOD POVERTY IN OUR COMMUNITY WHILE MAINTAINING OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY NET PROGRAMS AND SERVICES SUPPORTING OUR MOST VULNERABLE RESIDENTS.
2023-2025 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) ANNOUNCEMENT
United Way of Wyoming Valley is pleased to announce funding opportunities in support of its Community Impact Model, “Poverty to Possibility – Improving the Odds for Children and Families,” and in support for our Safety Net Impact Area defined as “Access to shelter and other essential services for individuals, families and youth who face threats to their immediate well-being."
United Way of Wyoming Valley is seeking proposals to implement targeted Funding Strategies in the areas of Education, Financial Stability, Health, and Safety Net. Nonprofit organizations that have been determined to be 501(c)(3) entities by the Internal Revenue Service currently providing, or could successfully implement, high-quality services and programs in alignment with one or more of these strategies are encouraged to apply for funding.
Please follow the links below to learn more about this funding opportunity and to submit a Letter of Intent. Letters of Intent are due no later than Friday, December 9, 2022 at Noon. Letters of Intent must be submitted through the United Way of Wyoming Valley’s Letter of Intent (LOI) Submission Process. Consistent with United Way of Wyoming Valley’s Policy on the Submission of Late or Incomplete Grant Applications, late applications and applications missing required information or documents will not be accepted.
