Your gift makes a difference right here in the Wyoming Valley.
When you give to United Way of Wyoming Valley, you help create opportunities for local children and families and support the programs, partnerships and initiatives that strengthen our community.
Together, We See
608 CHILDREN RECEIVED GLASSES
Through United Way’s See to Succeed initiative, 636 local children received comprehensive eye exams after school-based vision screenings identified a potential problem—and 608 received the glasses they needed to see clearly.
Because a child can’t learn what they can’t see.
Together, We Read
44,391 BOOKS IN THE HANDS OF LOCAL CHILDREN
From Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to summer reading, book fairs and other literacy efforts, United Way works year-round to make sure children have access to books.
Because access to books can shape a child’s success long before they enter a classroom.
Together, We Invest
$2.43 MILLION INVESTED BACK INTO OUR COMMUNITY
In 2025, our community entrusted United Way with $2.46 million in support. We put nearly that same amount to work locally through community programs, United Way-led initiatives, donor-directed investments and other community support.
