The National Alexis de Tocqueville Society
The United Way Alexis de Tocqueville Society was formed in 1984 to deepen individual understanding, commitment and support for United Way's work in advancing the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all. The Alexis de Tocqueville Society recognizes local philanthropic leaders and volunteer champions who have devoted time, talent and funds to create long-lasting changes by tackling our communities' most serious issues. Membership to the Alexis de Tocqueville Society is granted to individuals who contribute at least $10,000 annually to a member United Way.

In the Wyoming Valley area, the Alexis de Tocqueville Society is an esteemed membership of donor/volunteers who are creating meaningful change in our community by lending their time, talent and expertise. We invite you to join United Way of Wyoming Valley Alexis de Tocqueville Society and our fight against childhood poverty by making an annual donation of $10,000 or more.
