United Way of Wyoming Valley is the community leader in addressing human service needs that make a lasting impact on the lives of our most vulnerable citizens with the goal of improving quality of life for all.
History:
People helping people is the premise upon which United Way was founded on in 1921; when United Way of Wyoming Valley first began serving residents of our community. As the area has grown and changed, so have we, working hard to meet existing needs in local neighborhoods.
United Way builds relationships with caring, concerned members of a community by pooling resources to lend a helping hand to those in need.
