Community Conversations
United Way of Wyoming Valley is looking to engage members of our community to create a shared vision for the future and set goals for collective action. In order to accomplish these goals, United Way will be hosting a number of community conversations over the next few months. While these conversations will take many forms, at the heart of them, is one common question: What do you want your community to look like?
These conversations will be hosted at a number of local organizations throughout the Wyoming Valley. They will consist of groups of 8-12 people having a kitchen-table style conversation. The conversation will be about what kind of community you want. By diving down deep on one topic of the group's choosing, we will discuss how we can effect real change on that issue. It is our hope that the results of these conversations will help create real, lasting change within our community.
Light refreshments will be provided at all conversations. If childcare is available at a location, it will be noted in the event details.
