Meeting Emergency Needs
United Way provides assistance to those with little or no other resources through emergency medical care, emergency assistance, and information and referral services.
This aid is supplied through 11 programs at 7 agencies that make material goods, financial assistance, food, shelter, prescription drugs, and clothing available.  United Way also assists in disaster relief for those afflicted with fires and other hardships, the collection of blood, and the availability of homeless shelters for individuals, families, and victims of domestic violence.
