Day Care - Provides day care for children of working parents or parents enrolled in school or training programs which meet United Way guidelines.
Luzerne County Head Start
Jump Start - Serves as an early intervention program for children ages 3 and 4 who have been referred by community agencies as being at risk due to diagnosed disability or family situations.
Community Counseling Services
Healthy Families - Child abuse and neglect prevention program provides support and education to first time parents through home visitation, center-based activities and linkage to community services to prevent child abuse and neglect.

Social Development - Provides individuals with life skills opportunities within the context of socialization and recreation.
Victim's Resource Center
Sexual Assault Prevention/Education - Provides direct services to victims of rape/sexual assault such as crisis intervention support; individual and group counseling; police, court and hospital accompaniment; and advocacy.
Wyoming Valley Alcohol and Drug Services
Prevention Program - Provides comprehensive, multi-educational services to schools, industry, civic and other community groups. It addresses topics relating to drug/alcohol abuse utilizing innovative methods of presentation. |
